Specializations:

  • Relaxation

Maggie graduated with honors from MH Vicars school of Massage Therapy in 2019. MH Vicars specialized in remedial massage (more medically oriented massage therapy techniques), but she prefers a slightly different approach. Maggie's personal style of massage can best be described as a relaxing massage using light-medium pressure and lots of slow, broad strokes. Additionally, she uses heat therapy in massages whenever possible. Her favorite way to end a session is an indulgent head, neck and shoulder massage that will leave you relaxed and refreshed.

Having lived with anxiety and depression for most of her life drives her passion of being able to help others who are struggling with their own mental health concerns through the use of physical touch.

Maggie is also very happy to announce she has recently earned her Trauma Informed Care certificate through Alberta health services to further help her serve her clients.

In the future she would like to explore the use of massage therapy to treat headaches and migraines. She also finds the potential benefits of massage therapy for individuals with sensory processing disorders and people with autism spectrum disorder fascinating.

Outside of massage Maggie's interests include board games, video games, and fantasy books/movies such as Lord of the Rings. She also loves animals (especially cats!)

Whether you are suffering from anxiety or depression, require pain relief but prefer a lighter touch, or simply want to pamper yourself with an amazing relaxing massage Maggie would love to meet you!

I am currently enrolled as a second year Massage Therapy student at the Alberta Institute of Massage Therapy where I will graduate my 2200 hour program in January 2025.

Massage therapy has always been my calling since I was young. I have always loved learning about the human body, how it works and what it does. I believe there will always be new techniques and knowledge to gain. I will receive my cupping Certificate in March 2024.

I was a competitive athlete for most of my life. My sport of choice was gymnastics which I started at the age of 5. By 16 I had retired from my career in diving as a national level diver. My time in competitive gymnastics and diving has shown me the importance of team members, coaches, and medical practitioners. I am excited to work with other well equipped Massage practitioners and be a part of my clients healing journey.
